Happy August! I love this time of the year. Lots of festivals going on in Edmonton including the Edmonton Folk Fest, which we'll be attending next weekend. And two more weddings this month! This has definitely been the summer of weddings for us. Hope you're enjoying all the miracles of summer! |

Tuesday ~ August 3rd
Congratulations Dave & Amanda!
We're off for our first summer vacation! A 3-day camping trip with a wedding on Wednesday at Blue Lake. For me, what's really cool about this wedding is that I set up the people that are now getting married! I told her about this great guy who is talented, thoughtful & cute and then I told him about this amazingly smart, funny and pretty girl. He was excited to meet her & she was shy about meeting him, but the moment they laid eyes on each other they were hooked. |

I've had many inquiries about the beads in the Bead Trunk. Are they for sale? How much? Can I get more (or less) than what is shown, when can you make them...etc. So to set the record straight I've added a price tag to each set in the Galleries. But please note that all the beads in the Bead Trunk are previous sets that have already been sold. The prices refer to the likely cost to make a similar set (of course all new sets will have slight variations from the originals). Prices are marked in US dollars for convenience. If you are interested in paying in Canadian funds, please email me at carrie@beadtree.net & I will be happy to give you the converted rate. I am willing to make bigger or smaller sets than what is shown but all custom orders must exceed $100 US. At the moment I am quite busy but feel free to inquire ~ I might be inspired to make a set or two. |
