I've been making these big beads, which
we've started calling "Medallions" because of their shape &
size, but also because of the wonderful connotation that comes with
that word ~ "an award for being a winner".
Back Side
See how big they are! I also hope
to make some of my own jump rings and headpins with the silver clay I
have to work with so they'll each be one of a kind, just like you!
More to come...
Thursday
~ June 3th
Wow, this is cool!
Tuesday ~ June 8th
The lilacs are almost spent now.
They've been such a pleasure, fragrancing the yard. I will miss
them, but the lilies are coming along nicely & soon the roses, bee balm
& peonies will be in bloom, taking their place, front centre stage.
We've completed the gurgler in the front
& are close to completing the pergola. I have photos, but will
wait until everything is done to show you how it looks. We are
still waiting on our new front door, which should be here sometime in
June. I am going to paint it purple! Is there any surprise
in that?
Rain is expected all week. I will
be at the torch instead of bent over in the flower beds and my back is
very happy about this.
I got this video in my inbox
today that I would like to share with you ~
Sunday ~ June 13th
My own set of Melanie
beads
I'm off to Red Deer College for a
wonderful weeklong class with the fabulous
Melanie
Moertel! I will have stories & photos when I return.
Have a wonderful week!

Happy Summer to you! I'm back from
Red Deer & have a bunch of photos to go through & share, but
today I have to build a rock wall & make a border, weed, prune &
plant so I will share this cool video that I came across, which has
nothing to do with beads, but will hopefully tide you over until I'm
back with photos later this week:
Tuesday ~ June 29th
Finally, an update!
