Wednesday, November 2nd

Above ~ the front yard on October 26th.

We've had the most wonderful autumn.  It has lingered on & on.  We've had no snow (yet) & the leaves have been so vibrant & beautiful.  Even my snap dragons are still going strong!

The Mountain Ash in the back yard is chock full of berries & the lilacs still haven't turned color.  I have loved this fall so much.

How has your autumn been?

P.S.  Can you spot the blue jay in this photo?  He's at the left, sitting on the corner of that wood post (hard to distinguish, but he's there).  Now, whenever I walk near the door, the blue jays just fly right up & stare at me.  If I don't take notice right away, they'll let out a big screech to let me know that they are there & waiting for me to cave & throw them a few peanuts.  I always do.  Chris says they've got me trained pretty good.

As soon as I can, I'll have a sneak peek of some of the beautiful jewelry that will be up for grabs next weekend at our sale.

At the moment though, it is unseasonably warm outside so I'm going to step away from the torch to get a little fresh air & finish the fall cleanup.

In the mean time, this is such a sweet post by Katie.

Monday, November 21st

Thank you to all that came to our sale this weekend.  It was awfully cold out so it's even more appreciated that you left the warmth of your homes to come to ours.  We had a really wonderful time & couldn't have pulled it off without the help of Chris, Linda, Louise, Tamye, Tricia & Skye, thank you to those lovely people too.

I will have some things up for grabs here on the website for those who couldn't make it, however, we sold out of the owl pendants (yippee!) so I need to make some more first.

Stay tuned...

And something beautiful to enjoy:

P.S.  I went to see Feist in concert last night.  What a gorgeous voice & what beautiful songs.  If you haven't yet & get the chance to see her, it's a real treat!

Donkeys in Greece ~ photo courtesy of my mom, Judy who recently visited this part of the world.

I don't know why, but this photo really speaks to me.

*Sigh*, is it Thursday already?  Well Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends!  I hope you're having a wonderful day with your loved ones.

It's just another work day up here, but it's sunny & the wind is calm, so it's quite a beautiful day.  I'm always thankful for those in the winter.

I wanted to have some jewelry for sale here by tomorrow, but it's not going to be possible.  I don't have enough Owls made & I would like to have one sale instead of several so that there is a lot of variety to pick from & the mail out charges are reasonable.  That said, definitely next week, most likely on Thursday, I will have lots of beautiful things for you to shop for.  I imagine many of you will be busy with Black Friday sales this week anyway, but save a few bucks for something sparkly & fun from here if you can.

And if you're in town, my lovely glass bead & jewelry making friend, Stacey will be selling her wares at the Snowflake Art & Craft Festival this Sunday, November 27th from 11 am to 4 pm along with 19 other Artisans.  The sale is at Fulton Place Community Hall at 6115 Fulton Road.

It should be a wonderful show & a great chance to pick up some handmade items for under the tree.  If you see me there, say Hi!
