Friday ~ September 5th
In the garden ~ left to right: tomatoes, pumpkins, corn & brussel sprouts.
We've really enjoyed growing all sorts of edible treats in our garden this year. Tangled in with the pink roses are peppers & tomatoes; pumpkin vines crawl between the spaces of the day lilies & burning bushes; behind our Dwarf Spruce, tall stalks of corn grow; brussel sprouts & cauliflower thrive by the mock orange & chartreuse lettuce pops beside the deep purple leaves of a Ninebark. I wasn't sure how it was all going to pan out, but I definitely like the mixed garden. Next year, I'm going to find room for peas too. |

Tuesday ~ September 17th
Cabin in the woods ~ Squam Lake, NH
We're back from an incredible trip & currently, I'm wading through 400+ photos, not to mention the photos from Montreal, which my mom has on her camera...
I have lots to share & will as soon as I get a chance but, at the moment I've got some other things to attend to, including prep work for my mom's wedding this weekend!
I'll update as soon as I can... In the meantime, I love this video about getting together with others & making art because it's good for the soul, (there are moments in this that remind me of SQUAM) ~ enjoy!
