Every year we pick a "theme", give ourselves a name that includes our campsite name "Wapiti" in it , and make t-shirts.  Last year our t-shirts said "My Big, Fat, Wapiti Weekend".  However, after our trips, the t-shirts find themselves at the back of the closet never to resurface again so the girls decided it would be more fun to have bead necklaces that can be worn again and again.  Well, this year we didn't have a name, in fact, we were calling ourselves the "No Name Gang".  "No Name" is a product line from a giant grocery store chain here called "Super Store" and all the products are packaged in bright yellow and black.  That's where I got the color theme for this year.  Quite a process, heh?

Yours truly, sporting what we lovingly deemed "the beer goggles".  These puppies were worn during the relay race, which involved a large spoon, a bouncy ball and a shot of "Sour Puss Liquor" half way through.  Good Times!

Though this picture is rather tiny, you might be able to make out those bright colored boxes in the middle of the circle.  Those boxes are filled with chocolate bars and were laid out for the taking.  One of the girls, Rhonda is a Hershey's Representative so she came fully stocked with more chocolate than you can possibly get into your mouth in such a short time - but we tried our hardest.

If you look closely you can see the last 4 girls standing on one foot.  This was one of the events of the "Beer Olympics" called the Endurance Test.  Sort of a rip off from Survivor and really, no one was drinking beer during the event so it shouldn't of qualified for our Olympics, but we enjoyed watching them sweat it out, nonetheless, as the prize was a beautiful tile/plaque with the quote, "a friend is a gift you give yourself".  An hour later Charlene (the one with black pants and a white t-shirt) was victorious (and sore!).

Another event of the "Beer Olympics" called "Wapiti Idol".  Again, another rip off from that oh so popular show Canadian/American Idol, but as you can see these 3 ARE drinking beer here so it meets the requirements of the Beer Olympics.

This is Liz doing a rapper-style version of "The Ants Go Marching One by One".  If it weren't for the fact that she streaked buck-naked through our camp at 3 in the morning (for a laugh), I might have considered this the funniest thing I've ever seen!  This girl knows how to party!
