The Cherry Blossom Beads

A little history ~ I call the 2 sets below by the Japanese name Yozakura, a word which refers to the viewing of cherry blossoms at night.  This has left such an enchanting & romantic impression on my mind that I will definitely explore it further with glass in the new year.  *Maybe I'll have to go to Japan to do the research, ah, that would be nice.*

 

Within all the bead sets below, you'll discover hand pulled twisties, goldstone ribbon, pure gold foil, silver mesh, ivory silver shards, handmade murrini & dichroic sparkles, all working together to create fanciful, little glass wonders.

I named the beads below, Hanami, a Japanese word that refers to the custom of enjoying flowers, which I like to do often.  All the bead sets below either have flowers on them or handmade murrinis, which are little glass flowers or have streaks that look like streams covered in cherry blossom petals.  I hope you enjoy them.
