A  gorgeous collection of 19 handmade glass beads that have both  horizontal intrigue & vertical depth.   Half of the beads are wrapped with intricate bands of silver, ivory & black that are like distinct veins of precious minerals exposed for  you to explore.  These veins are book-cased by feather-like dots of gray & amethyst.  Complimenting the flat beads are glass target coins that add tactile & visual interest.   Fun Fact:  The word "Strata" is plural for "Stratum" which means a horizontal layer of material, especially one of several parallel layers arranged one on top of another.  Average size of flat beads are 21 x 18 mm while the coins are 13 x 7 mm.  The entire strand stretches 38 cm (15 inches) long!
