The Celts
A beautiful collection of 15 handmade glass beads glowing with emerald hues & highlighted by jet black stripes & a shimmering silver cast. I designed these beads with a graphic sensibility & an old world flair, with the intent to convey both a modern design & ancient appeal. They are spaced by faceted silver balls & book cased by African glass discs as well as my trademark "lifesaver" bead on one end that adds both tactile & visual interest. Average size of beads are 14 x 12 mm. The entire strand stretches 28 cm (11 inches).
Fun Fact: Before Celts began battle they stood in front of the opposing army & started to beat their swords against their shields while screaming out loud. Soon after, they would run headlong towards their enemies, screaming the entire time - this often scared their enemies so much that they would run away allowing the Celts to pick them off quite easily. If the opposing army didn't break up, the Celts would stop short of them, return to their original positions & start the process all over again. |
