July 2005

Another "Where in the World is Carrie Hamilton?"

***But I'm changing it up a little this month***

Some people have told me that the clues are too easy so this month I'm going to add one clue per week.  If you can guess where I am in the first week you will receive 4 entries for a chance to win the prize, if you guess in the second week you will receive 3 entries, 3rd week you will receive 2 entries, & the last week you will receive 1 entry.  The clues will become more obvious as the weeks go on.  I will try to notify everyone on my riddle contest list each time I add a new clue.  Good luck!

Guess where I am in this picture & you could win the prize below!

May 2005

O.k., for this month, I thought I would try something totally different that I hope is a lot of fun & not too hard...we'll see.  I'm a big geography nut & I used to watch the game show on t.v. called "Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?".  It was a geography show for kids & I think it would be fun to do something like that but I'm calling it "Where in the World is Carrie Hamilton?".  So, basically I'm going to post a picture of a place that I've been to, give you a couple of clues (interesting facts about the place) & hopefully you'll be able to figure out where in the world I am...

Here we go:

I am with some friends in front of a very famous lake (I'm in the back - 3rd from the left).  Can you guess where I am?

Clues:

1.  This place is located in Canada's first national park.

2.  This area is the largest ski area in Canada.

3.  This particular lake is on the back of the old Canadian $20 bill.

Answer:

I'm at Lake Morraine (near Lake Louise) in Banff National Park.

And the winner is Pat Manzo ~ congratulations Pat!  Here's what she won:
